Returns

We’re proud of the quality we send out.
That said… we’re also human. If something arrives faulty or wrong, we’ll make it right.


This policy applies to purchases made via snarkies.com.au.

1) What can be returned?

We only accept returns for items that are:

  • faulty
  • damaged in transit
  • incorrect item received
  • manufacturing defect (e.g. lid doesn’t seal, damaged finish, print defect)


If a replacement is approved, it will be for the same product / same design / same size (no “can I swap colours/sizes/designs while we’re here?”).

2) What cannot be returned?

Due to the nature of consumer goods and hygiene considerations (especially drinkware), we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • change of mind (“don’t like it”, “found something else”, “partner doesn’t deserve it anymore”)
  • wrong choice made by customer (size, colour, style)
  • items that have been used, washed, or opened
  • damage caused by misuse (drops, dents, heat damage, dishwasher issues, scratched coatings, etc.)
  • normal wear and tear
  • sale/clearance items (unless faulty)

3) Important notes about appearance, colour & print

We do our best to ensure product photos are accurate, however:

  • colours can appear different depending on device/screens
  • minor variations in print placement/colour tone can occur due to production processes


These are not considered faults.

4) Reporting a problem (timeframe)

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

For shipping damage specifically, we strongly recommend contacting us within 48 hours so we can deal with the carrier fast.

5) What we need from you (to approve a return/replacement)

Email us at: orders@snarkies.com.au

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Which item(s) are affected
  • A short description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing:  

  • the issue
  • the product
  • the packaging (if damaged in transit)

6) Return Authorisation (RA)

If approved, we’ll issue a Return Authorisation (RA) Number.

Returns sent without an RA number may be refused.

Please write the RA number clearly on the outside of the parcel.

7) Return shipping costs

  • If the item is confirmed faulty/incorrect, we will cover the reasonable return shipping OR provide a replacement/refund without requiring return (case-by-case).
  • If a return is approved for any other reason (rare), return shipping is paid by the customer.

8) Refunds / Replacements

If your return is approved, we will offer one of the following (depending on the case):

  • Replacement
  • Reprint/replacement part (e.g., replacement lid)
  • Store credit
  • Refund

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method once approved.

9) Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

This policy does not exclude any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.

10) Returns address

Once your return is approved, we will provide the correct return address and instructions.

Do not send anything back until you receive approval.
