We’ll keep it as simple as possible, but yes, there is some legal stuff (because Australia).

In these Terms & Conditions:

• “Customer”, “you”, “your” refers to any person using this website and/or placing an order
  
• “Products” refers to goods sold via our website

Snarkies provides products for purchase via our online store.

By using our website, placing an order, or interacting with our services, you confirm:

• You agree to these Terms & Conditions
  
• You agree to comply with any applicable laws and regulations
  
  

3) Pricing & Product Information

We take care to ensure:

• pricing is displayed correctly

However:

• colours may appear differently depending on your screen/device
  
• measurements, weights, and product details may have minor manufacturing tolerances
  
• product images are for illustration purposes and may vary slightly from the delivered item

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change pricing or product availability at any time without notice.

4) Orders

When you place an order:

• you are making an offer to purchase Products from Snarkies
  
• your order is not confirmed until payment is received and the order is accepted by us

We reserve the right to cancel, refuse, or limit any order including (but not limited to):

• suspected fraud
  
• pricing or listing errors
  
• stock availability issues
  
• system / checkout errors

If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we’ll issue a refund.

5) Payment

We accept payment through the payment methods shown at checkout (including card payments and other supported providers).

Orders are not dispatched until payment has been successfully received.

6) Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timeframes are estimates only.

Once an order has been dispatched:

• delivery is handled by third-party carriers (e.g., Australia Post, courier partners)
  
• delays may occur outside our control

Snarkies is not responsible for delays caused by:

• courier network congestion
  
• weather events
  
• incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
  
• customs (for international shipments)
  
• public holidays or peak seasons

7) Cancellations & Order Changes

If you need to cancel or change your order, contact us ASAP.

However:

• once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to cancel or modify it
  
• address changes may not be possible once dispatched
  
  

8) Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product:

• has a major failure
  
• is not of acceptable quality
  
• is significantly different from the description/sample
  
• is unsafe
  
• does not do what it is supposed to do

You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Change-of-mind returns

Snarkies does not have to provide refunds for change of mind under ACL.

That means we may refuse returns for reasons such as:

• you ordered the wrong item
  
• you no longer want the product
  
• you found it cheaper elsewhere
  
• you didn’t read the description properly
  
• you decided it “wasn’t your vibe anymore”

That said, we’re reasonable humans. If you made an honest mistake, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

9) Faulty / Damaged / Incorrect Items

If you receive:

• a faulty product
  
• a damaged product
  
• the wrong product

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery, including:

• your order number
  
• photos of the item and packaging where relevant

We will assess the issue and provide a remedy consistent with ACL.

10) Lost Parcels / Delivered but Not Received

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you can’t locate your parcel:

• check around the delivery location
  
• check with neighbours/building manager
  
• contact the courier

Snarkies is not responsible for parcels lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the courier, however we will assist you in submitting enquiries where possible.

11) Promotions, Discounts & Gift Cards

Promotions and discount codes:

• are valid only for the period stated
  
• cannot usually be combined unless explicitly stated
  
• may exclude certain items

Gift cards / store credit (if offered):

• are non-refundable
  
• cannot be redeemed for cash
  
• may have expiry periods as permitted by law

12) Intellectual Property

All content on this website is owned or licensed by Snarkies, including:

• product designs
  
• images and graphics
  
• written content
  
• logos and branding

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

13) Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website, including:

• attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the website
  
• using bots/scrapers without permission
  
• uploading malicious content
  
• committing fraud

We reserve the right to suspend or block access to our website if misuse occurs.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Queensland.
